About Distractions:
Looking to continue training with your dog? Our Intermediate Level has 3 different modules, including our Distractions Module. Modules can be taken in any order.
Intermediate Skills: Distractions
Many families tell us their dogs are well-behaved at home, but handling distractions is a different story. In this class, we’ll focus on building your dog’s ability to stay attentive, even when the world around them gets exciting. You’ll learn how to match training to your dog’s skill level, what steps to take when distractions become too much, and how to use specific distractions to reinforce your dog’s training progress.
New Skills Graduation:
Graduates will receive a special gift and a graduation photo.
Class Prerequisites:
Dogs must be over 16 weeks of age.
Dogs must be current on required vaccinations, which are outlined by age in our Vaccination Policy on the FAQ page.
Dogs should be able to eagerly eat treats in a group environment.
Dogs should not bark/lunge at people or dogs.
Graduation from Beginner: Core Skills or Instructor Approval.
